Code of conduct for the processing of personal data

We need your personal data to process your applications and contracts, for claims settlement as well as for individual counselling and customer service. As a matter of principle, we guarantee careful handling of all your personal data. For this purpose, we have developed a code of conduct for the processing of your personal data in accordance with the code of conduct of the Gesamtverband der Deutschen Versicherungswirtschaft e. V. (GDV, German Insurance Association).

Together with German data protection authorities and consumer protection groups, the Gesamtverband der Deutschen Versicherungswirtschaft (GDV) developed a code of conduct for the processing of data within the insurance industry. These guidelines were approved by the Berliner Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Berlin).
